ELFES/TOUCHETERRE/LOTR by dragounet

Commander: Thranduil the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic Elf-tribal deck helmed by Thranduil the Strategist, built entirely from Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit card pool. The primary game plan is to flood the board with Elf tokens and +1/+1 counters through a dense landfall engine, using Thranduil to turn every other Elf into a mana dork and every land drop into an Elf token. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging lords like Elvish Archdruid and Galadhrim Brigade alongside counter-generating engines like Arwen, Weaver of Hope and Dancing from Dark to Dawn. A secondary scry-synergy package (Elrond, Master of Healing, Celeborn the Wise, Galadriel of Lothlorien) provides card selection, ramp, and protection. The deck is a midrange value engine that aims to out-scale opponents with sheer board presence rather than combo lines.
