Deck overview

This is a Grixis "crime" value deck that turns targeted spells and abilities into card advantage and battlefield development. Marchesa, Dealer of Death is the glue: every crime can be converted, for {1}, into looking at the top two cards, keeping one in hand, and binning the other to fuel the graveyard. The 99 leans heavily on crime payoffs such as Gisa, the Hellraiser, Magda, the Hoardmaster, Kaervek, the Punisher, and Duelist of the Mind, alongside a Zombie-tribal subtheme with Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, Death Baron, and Undead Augur. A distinctive type-changing package (Maskwood Nexus, Arcane Adaptation, Standardize, Unnatural Selection) lets the deck turn "choose a creature type" effects into one-sided board wipes and a critical-mass finisher with Kindred Charge and Shared Animosity. It has no infinite combo; the plan is to grind, clear blockers, and kill through a massive hasty combat turn.
