Deck overview

This Sultai (BUG) deck is helmed by Maralen, Fae Ascendant, a flying Elf Faerie that exiles the top two cards of an opponent's library on each Elf or Faerie ETB, then lets you cast one of those exiled cards per turn for free, as long as its mana value is your Elf/Faerie count. The primary strategy is to build a wide board of Elves and Faeries (including changelings) to grow Maralen's free-cast ceiling, then use opponents' own spells against them to generate overwhelming card advantage. The deck also leans into graveyard synergy (milling, recursion, token generation) and has a few big X-spells like Doppelgang and Mathemagics as potential finishers. There is no dedicated infinite combo; the path to victory is incremental value, combat damage, and eventually out-carding the table with on-curve free spells.
