Commander: Ayara, First of Locthwain

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ayara, First of Locthwain leads a mono-black aristocrats deck that turns a stream of black creature tokens into life loss. The primary plan is to land Ayara, add token generators like Jadar, Ophiomancer, and Chittering Witch, then sacrifice tokens to Ashnod's Altar or Carrion Feeder while Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Zulaport Cutthroat drain all opponents. Secondary paths use Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Exsanguinate for a big life-swing, and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth acts as a hidden commander, turning life into black mana to accelerate Army of the Damned or an infinite colorless loop with Reassembling Skeleton. It is a grind engine: slow to assemble, but once drain is online, every token entering or dying is a weapon.
