Deck overview

Bilbo, Thief in the Night is a flexible value engine in a mono-blue artifact deck. The primary plan is to mass-produce Thopters with Sai, Master Thopterist, Thopter Spy Network, Efficient Construction, Retrofitter Foundry, and Stridehangar Automaton, then win with Mechanized Production. The secondary plan is equipment voltron: arm Bilbo or another flyer with Blackblade Reforged, Adaptive Omnitool, and Sword of Hours for lethal commander damage. Bilbo accelerates non-hand casts and recurs artifacts, instants, and sorceries on attack; he matters but is not strictly required, since the Thopter/Mechanized Production engine functions without him. There is no hidden commander; the artifact synergies collectively drive the deck.
