Deck overview

This deck leverages The Muckslinger Gang to turn power-scaling creatures into massive resource engines and lethal burn outlets. By giving all non-attacking, non-blocking creatures and creature cards in all other zones +3/+3, the commander immediately supercharges mana dorks like Viridian Joiner and Heronblade Elite into multi-mana producers. This influx of mana allows the deck to flood the board, trigger power-based draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Greater Good, and deploy lethal payoffs. Rather than relying solely on combat damage, the deck wins through direct burn and sacrifice effects. Cards like Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Chandra's Ignition, Terror of the Peaks, and various fling spells convert huge power totals directly into player elimination. Supported by efficient protection spells such as Deflecting Swat and Heroic Intervention, the deck presents a fast, explosive, and resilient midgame clock.
