Deck overview

This deck is a Mardu combat-aggro strategy commanded by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The plan centers on deploying aggressive creatures with attack triggers, multiplying their output with Isshin's doubling ability, and overwhelming opponents with wide token swarms and enter-the-battlefield burn. Operating without fast mana artifacts, the deck develops at natural land-per-turn velocity. It reliably establishes an attacking board by Turn 4 and escalates to a must-answer state on Turn 5 using scaling payoffs like Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, Caesar, Legion's Emperor, and Impact Tremors. Lethal damage across three opponents is typically achieved by Turn 7 over two response cycles. The deck features strong redundancy among token creators and modest creature recursion, enabling it to function even if Isshin is removed. However, heavy reliance on the combat step and exposure to mass creature removal represent its primary limitations.
