Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counters and X-spell midrange strategy commanded by Zimone, Infinite Analyst. The primary game plan develops mana rapidly through land ramp and mana rocks on Turns 1 and 2, casts Zimone on Turn 3, and casts an initial X-spell on Turn 4 to start growing counters on the commander. Each turn, Zimone reduces the cost of subsequent X-spells by her counter count while accumulating two more counters per cast. On Turns 5 and 6, this massive cost reduction converts into giant trampling Hydras, swarms of Fractal tokens, and deep card draw through spells like Pull from Tomorrow and Stroke of Genius. The deck converts these overwhelming bodies into a three-player win over two combat rounds using evasion from Nev, the Practical Dean, Tanazir Quandrix, and Rogue's Passage. While vulnerable to mass bounce and exile sweepers, death triggers and independent mana engines keep the strategy resilient across multiplayer pods.
