Deck overview

This Azorius Bird tribal deck uses cheap, evasive flyers to establish early board presence and trigger Kastral, the Windcrested. Kastral acts as a repeatable engine that scales your team with +1/+1 counters, draws cards, or reanimates fallen Birds whenever your flyers deal combat damage to a player. The mana curve is low, featuring cost reducers like Watcher of the Spheres and Warden of Evos Isle to accelerate mid-game plays. Static buffs from Empyrean Eagle, Favorable Winds, and Gravitational Shift quickly turn small flyers into lethal threats. To defend its board, the deck runs efficient counterspells such as Dazzling Denial, Lofty Denial, and Flare of Denial, alongside Flare of Fortitude against sweepers. Stax pieces like Magus of the Moat and Aven Mindcensor protect your life total and disrupt opposing game plans while your aerial army closes out the game through relentless combat damage.
