LORD OF RIOTS by user3945426

Format: Commander

Commander: Rakdos, Lord of Riots

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a high-curve Rakdos, Lord of Riots tempo/combo build that leverages early damage pings to enable massive cost reduction on creature spells. The primary game plan is to deploy a cheap pinger (Spear Spewer, Nettle Drone, Lobber Crew) or a symmetric damage spell (Flame Rift) by turn two, then cast Rakdos on turn three. Once the commander is online, the deck vomits out Eldrazi, demons, and finishers like Blightsteel Colossus for a fraction of their mana cost-or assembles an infinite damage loop with Ancestral Statue and Nettle Drone (or Grinning Ignus for mana). Secondary win conditions include Havoc Festival + Archfiend of Despair to halve life totals and double loss, and Warstorm Surge turning every creature drop into a direct damage cannon. The deck is heavily commander-dependent, but the redundancy of damage sources and big bodies gives it multiple paths to overwhelm the table.
