Commander: Super Shredder

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats combo deck, helmed by Super Shredder, aims to generate incremental value through token creation, sacrifice outlets, and drain effects before assembling an infinite loop to close out the table. The commander grows with each permanent that leaves the battlefield, providing a resilient beatdown backup, but the true engine lies entirely in the 99. The deck leverages a dense tutor package - Demonic Tutor, Vampiric Tutor, Diabolic Intent, Entomb, and Buried Alive - to consistently find combo pieces like Gravecrawler, Phyrexian Altar, or Pitiless Plunderer. Once infinite mana and death triggers are online, a single drain effect such as Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat ends the game. Alternative win conditions include Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate for large X-spell finishes, or Bolas's Citadel to cascade through the deck. The deck is highly synergistic, low to the ground, and able to pivot between grinding value and explosive combo turns.
