Commander: Animar, Soul of Elements

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Temur Animar is a creature-combo/toolbox deck built around the commander's cost-reduction and cast triggers. The primary plan is to play Animar early, stack +1/+1 counters with cheap creatures and draw engines, then assemble Ancestral Statue to loop indefinitely, making every creature spell free and drawing the library with Beast Whisperer or similar. Secondary plans use Natural Order, Finale of Devastation, Defense of the Heart, and Ghalta to cheat huge Eldrazi and Craterhoof into play for a trampling finish. There is no separate hidden commander; Eshki and Kinnan are support engines. The deck wants to win in one explosive turn once Animar has four or more counters.
