Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Blue Spellslinger Control list piloted by Ojer Pakpatiq, Deepest Epoch. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cost reducers and card-advantage engines, casting high-impact instants on opponents' turns, and doubling their value via rebound on the following upkeep. Rather than racing for fast infinite combos, the deck controls the stack and board with a deep suite of counterspells and bounce effects like Mana Drain and Cyclonic Rift. Win conditions are achieved by converting repeated spellcasts into evasive armies through token producers such as Talrand, Sky Summoner, Metallurgic Summonings, and Chrome Host Seedshark, closing out the game with overwhelming airborne combat damage.
