Commander: Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ellie and Alan, Paleontologists is a graveyard-fueled discover engine in Bant. The deck fills the graveyard with high-mana cycling creatures, then taps the commander to Discover X and either cast or hand a free spell. Secondary engines-Monstrous Vortex, Imoti, Kellan, and Helga-chain extra free casts and draw cards. The primary kill is a big haste/trample combat step, often via Finale of Devastation or Akroma's Memorial, after an enormous board of cycled dinosaurs and wurms has been assembled. This is a midrange value deck: it spends early turns on land tutoring and graveyard setup, then explodes into repeated Discover triggers. The plan is linear but powerful, and it relies heavily on the graveyard and the commander staying online.
