Deck overview

Marvo, Deep Operative helms a high-mana-value tempo-control deck that uses top-deck manipulation to win clashes and cheat out expensive spells for free. The primary plan is to attack with Marvo, win the clash consistently, and then cast threats like Hullbreaker Horror, Expropriate, or Peer into the Abyss without paying their mana costs. Secondary plans include hard-casting big sea monsters, reanimating or stealing creatures with Breach the Multiverse and Rise of the Dark Realms, and taking extra turns to run away with the game. The commander is the main engine but not a mandatory combo piece; the deck can still function by hard-casting its expensive spells. There is no hidden commander; the battlefield is established through high-MV creatures, recursion, and countermagic.
