God of War by user9135116

Format: Commander

Commander: Ares, God of War

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ares, God of War leads an aggressive Rakdos sacrifice and recursion engine. Ares forces attacking creatures that die in combat back into your hand, bypassing traditional graveyard depletion and letting you repeatedly cast suicidal, high-impact beaters like Lightning Skelemental and Ball Lightning. The deck converts these recurring combat steps into immense value using death-trigger burn engines like Blood Artist, Judith, the Scourge Diva, and Mayhem Devil alongside aggressive card advantage engines like Garna, Bloodfist of Keld and Rakdos, the Muscle. You win by overwhelming enemy life totals through persistent trampling combat damage paired with lethal aristocratic life drain.
