Deck overview

This Simic counters deck, helmed by Zimone, Paradox Sculptor, is a methodical engine built around exponential counter growth. The primary plan is to deploy Zimone early, use her combat-triggered +1/+1 counter and her activated ability to double counters on creatures and artifacts, then convert that mass into a win via one of five distinct alt-win conditions: Simic Ascendancy, Darksteel Reactor, The Millennium Calendar, Twenty-Toed Toad, or chained extra turns from Sage of Hours/Magistrate's Scepter. The commander is a powerful force multiplier but not essential - Deepglow Skate, Vorel of the Hull Clade, and Innkeeper's Talent provide redundancy, and the deck's proliferate suite ensures the counter engines keep spiraling.
