Clash of the Deep Sea by Orktaku

Format: Commander

Commander: Marvo, Deep Operative

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Marvo, Deep Operative is a high-mana dimir clash deck that uses top-of-library manipulation to win clashes and cheat out big spells. The primary plan is to set a high-CMC card on top with Brainstorm/Ponder/Serum Visions and Crystal Ball, attack with Marvo, then free-cast an 8-drop like One with Multiverse or Aminatou's Augury. Those payoffs fuel a board of unblockable sea monsters (Serpent of Yawning Depths, Stormtide Leviathan) plus life-drain engines (Baneful Omen, Twilight Prophet). Runo Stromkirk // Krothuss acts as a hidden commander, creating extra attacking copies of your Krakens and Leviathans. The deck is slow but interaction-heavy, with counterspells and bounce to protect its key pieces.
