A SECOND DINO HAS HIT THE TOWER by TheLifeAT

Format: Commander

Commander: Pantlaza, Sun-Favored

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Pantlaza is a midrange Naya dinosaur value engine. The primary plan is to ramp into Pantlaza and use its once-per-turn discover trigger to chain mid-cost dinosaurs while haste outlets like Palani's Hatcher, Otepec Huntmaster, and Mass Hysteria turn the board sideways. Secondary paths are Gishath and Etali combat triggers that flood the battlefield, Atla Palani's egg-cheating, and a Finale of Devastation overrun. Huatli, Poet of Unity // Roar of the Fifth People is a supporting engine rather than a hidden commander: the front ramps and tutors, and the saga back gives tokens, mana, and a double-strike anthem. Pantlaza supplies card advantage and board growth, but the deck can still function through Gishath and Atla if the commander is removed.
