Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy build centered on Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The primary strategy accelerates mana on turns 1 and 2, quickly deploys high-stat, low-cost creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Rhonas the Indomitable on turn 3, and casts a heavily discounted Ghalta for {G}{G} as early as turn 4. Once assembled, the deck leverages static draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond to maintain card velocity while presenting overwhelming trampling threats. Over turns 5 through 7, combat finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth turn massive power into multi-player eliminations. While vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and lacking stack interaction, the deck features strong redundancy, swift recovery, and robust backup beatdown threats like Carnage Tyrant and Elder Gargaroth.
