Deck overview

The deck uses Chatterfang, Squirrel General to turn every token event into extra Squirrels, then converts a wide board into combat damage, sacrifice value, or drain. Its strongest compact engine is Scurry Oak plus Ivy Lane Denizen. With both creatures in play, each counter on Scurry Oak creates a Squirrel, and each green creature entering creates another counter trigger. The loop creates unlimited Squirrels, with Chatterfang increasing the output. Without a haste or damage payoff, the ordinary finish is a turn-8 attack after a turn-7 assembly. Mirkwood Bats can turn the same loop into immediate damage, but finding and casting that third card is not part of the ordinary clock. The deck has solid creature and token synergy, several sacrifice outlets, and respectable draw engines, but its tutor coverage, protection, interaction, and mana acceleration are incomplete. It is a general-power deck with a fragile combo ceiling rather than a consistent competitive Commander list.
