Deck overview

This is a Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow tempo deck built around ninjutsu and unblockable creatures. The primary game plan is to deploy cheap unblockable attackers, ninjutsu in Yuriko and other ninjas to trigger combat damage abilities, and drain opponents' life totals through Yuriko's reveal-and-damage trigger. The deck wins through cumulative life drain plus combat damage, supplemented by stealing and casting opponents' cards via Fallen Shinobi, Silent-Blade Oni, and Nashi, Moon Sage's Scion. Evasion support (Cover of Darkness, Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive, Access Tunnel) ensures ninjas connect. The deck is low to the ground (2.52 average CMC) with a dense package of 20+ ninjas and 8+ unblockable enablers, making it a consistent, aggressive tempo strategy that pressures all opponents simultaneously.
