Deck overview

This monoblack Commander deck is built around Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder, using creature casting triggers to generate hordes of 1/1 Thrull tokens. The deck relies on dedicated free sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer, Woe Strider, and Umbral Collar Zealot to consume Thrulls instantly, preventing Endrek's self-sacrifice threshold of seven Thrulls while fueling aristocrats drain and asymmetric edict effects. Payoffs such as Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, Zulaport Cutthroat, and The Meathook Massacre rapidly drain the table, while Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Sothera, the Supervoid lock out opposing creature boards. Late-game mana acceleration from Cabal Coffers, Cabal Stronghold, and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth powers massive Exsanguinate finishes or repeated Chainer, Dementia Master reanimation loops with Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The deck offers strong recursion, resilience, and oppressive creature control, balanced by vulnerabilities to noncreature permanents and lack of targeted protection.
