Deck overview

This is a Golgari sacrifice/aristocrats deck helmed by Tom, Bert, and William, built around converting big creatures into massive card advantage. The commander's activated ability sacrifices another creature to draw cards equal to its power (then discard one), turning 9/9s like Bygone Colossus into a 9-card draw spell. The deck layers undying creatures (Butcher Ghoul, Demonlord of Ashmouth, Treacherous Pit-Dweller), +1/+1 counter synergies (Fain the Broker, Unspeakable Symbol, Warden of the Grove), and graveyard recursion (Cauldron of Essence, Vat of Rebirth, Moldgraf Monstrosity) to grind value. It wins through either combat damage from hasty hexproof threats like Gigantic Big Bear and Moldgraf Monstrosity, or aristocrat drain from Falkenrath Noble and Cauldron of Essence. The commander's death trigger returns it as an artifact, letting it dodge creature wipes and persist as a draw engine.
