Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Jeskai aggressive build commanded by Sonic the Hedgehog, fusing +1/+1 counter mechanics, artifact synergies, and proliferate engines. The strategy focuses on curving out with efficient artifact creatures and haste/flash threats, utilizing Sonic's attack trigger to distribute counters across the board while generating Treasure tokens when combat trades occur. The mid-game accelerates counter accumulation through proliferate powerhouses like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus and Inexorable Tide. Once the board is sufficiently modified, game-ending finishers such as Lux Artillery, Cyberdrive Awakener, and Aurelia, the Warleader convert counter density into massive combat damage and direct burn. The deck is supported by efficient single-mana spot removal, asymmetric sweepers that spare modified or artifact creatures, and resilient counter-retention engines like Together Forever and Resourceful Defense.
