Deck overview

This deck is a Simic midrange strategy helmed by The Astonishing Ant-Man, focusing on converting card draw into +1/+1 counters and converting those counters into a massive army of 1/1 green Insect tokens. The early game establishes cheap ramp and recurring draw engines like Sylvan Library, Terrasymbiosis, and Bident of Thassa to rapidly grow Ant-Man. Once a critical mass of counters is reached, Ant-Man activates to flood the board with tokens, further amplified by doublers such as Adrix and Nev, Twincasters and Branching Evolution. Mana acceleration from Cryptolith Rite and Citanul Hierophants turns the token army into a vast mana engine, fueling massive draw spells like Shamanic Revelation and Finale of Revelation. The deck closes out games through overwhelming combat damage using Beastmaster Ascension, Unnatural Growth, or alternative growth wins via Simic Ascendancy.
