Commander: Lurrus of the Dream-Den

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Lurrus of the Dream-Den is the recursion engine of a fast Orzhov combo deck. The primary plan is to assemble a sacrifice loop that drains the table-Gravecrawler plus Phyrexian Altar, Animate Dead plus Leonin Relic-Warder, or persist plus Thran Vigil-using Lurrus to recast key two-drop permanents from the graveyard. Secondary paths are stax/tax beats with Drannith Magistrate and Ethersworn Canonist, and a Pili-Pala/Heartstone/Paradise Mantle mana engine. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Lurrus's repeatable graveyard casting, but most combo lines do not require him.
