Commander: Kilo, Apogee Mind

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Jeskai artifact counters deck built around Kilo, Apogee Mind as a repeatable proliferate engine. The commander has haste and triggers proliferate whenever it becomes tapped, typically through attacking. The deck leverages a dense artifact base-including numerous Spacecraft with the Station ability-to accumulate charge counters and +1/+1 counters, then wins through one of several counter-based payoffs: Darksteel Reactor (20+ counters), Lux Artillery (30+ counters among artifacts and creatures), or Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought (100 damage on attack). Support pieces like Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus double each proliferation, and Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain plus Uthros Research Craft provide sustained card draw. The strategy is midrange and value-oriented, aiming to out-grind opponents through repeated proliferation and then close the game with a large counter-based effect.
