Mordor by user5963887

Format: Commander

Commander: Lord of the Nazgûl

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lord of the Nazgul turns every instant and sorcery into a 3/3 Wraith token. The deck's core loop is to cast cheap spells, race to nine Wraiths, then trigger the Lord's ability to make them all 9/9 and swing for lethal. The nine Nazgul and Ring tempt triggers put +1/+1 counters on all Wraiths, while cantrips and draw spells (Ponder, Brainstorm, Think Twice) keep the engine fueled. A reanimation subtheme and a stack of counterspells protect the engine. There is no infinite combo; the primary victory is a large, evasive Wraith army. The commander is the main engine; without him, the deck falls back on individually powerful Wraiths.
