Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange strategy commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist that weaponizes the cycling mechanic. By packing a high density of landcycling creatures, the deck guarantees smooth mana development while turning ordinary cycling costs into potent board-building actions. Whenever a creature card is cycled or discarded, Hashaton pays {2}{U} to create a 4/4 black Zombie token copy of that creature. This allows the deck to deploy massive threats like Troll of Khazad-dûm, Marauding Brinefang, and Alabaster Host Intercessor at a fraction of their normal mana costs at instant speed. Parallel payoffs such as Bone Miser, Drake Haven, and Zombie Infestation ensure that every discard produces tokens, mana, or cards even if the commander is removed. The deck closes games by buffing its Zombie army with On Wings of Gold, Liliana's Mastery, and Renewed Solidarity, overwhelming opponents through sheer combat damage and burst life loss from Gempalm Polluter.
