Deck overview

This Boros Equipment Voltron deck leverages the partner pair of Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh and Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist to deploy a lightning-fast, evasive threat and suit it up with an overwhelming arsenal of equipment. Rograkh costs {0}, always has first strike, menace, and trample, while Ardenn attaches any number of Auras and Equipment to a target permanent for free at the start of combat. The deck's core plan is to equip Rograkh with cheap treasure-producing items like Prying Blade and Beamtown Beatstick to accelerate, then transition into game-ending pumps (Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden) and value engines such as Sword of Hearth and Home and Buster Sword. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads combat damage to all opponents, turning one large swing into a potential multi-kill. A dense tutor suite (Steelshaper's Gift, Enlightened Tutor, Stoneforge Mystic, Fighter Class, Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, and the repeatable Sunforger) ensures consistent access to the right equipment, while Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin draw extra cards. The deck is fast, resilient, and packs ample protection, making it a formidable Voltron force.
