Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron list built around Captain America, First Avenger. The plan is to land Cap on turn three, then use Catch to strap a free Equipment onto him every combat and start clocking opponents with commander damage. Throw converts a high-mana-value piece into burst reach when someone is out of combat range or hiding behind blockers. The 99 is dense with Equipment tutors, auto-equip enablers, and equip-cost reducers, so the Voltron clock stays online through spot removal. Extra combat from Aurelia, the Warleader and Genji Glove lets one suited attack step delete multiple players in a single turn. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins by combat, with Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Halvar, God of Battle, and the protection Swords supplying the damage and evasion. Recastable Cap plus persistent Equipment is the rebuild after creature wipes, while Cloud, Midgar Mercenary is a near-hidden commander that tutors a piece and doubles Equipment triggers.
