white planeswalkers by EatSteak

Format: Commander

Commander: Worzel, the Protector

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-white planeswalker tribal deck is helmed by Worzel, the Protector, a commander that doubles as a token generator and a conditional tutor for planeswalkers and basic Plains. The primary game plan is to deploy a critical mass of planeswalkers, using Worzel's +0 to create Cat tokens that can tap to proliferate loyalty counters, accelerating ultimate abilities. The deck leans heavily on combat deterrents-Archon of Absolution, Baird, Steward of Argive, and similar tax effects-to protect its planeswalkers from attacks. Win conditions are incremental: emblem-based inevitability (Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Gideon of the Trials), token swarms, and occasional planeswalker creature beats. The deck lacks fast infinite combos and relies on value accumulation and board control, making it a slow, resilient superfriends control build.
