Deck overview

This is a Sultai X-spell combo deck helmed by Zaxara, the Exemplary, built to generate massive mana and convert it into game-ending drain spells or army-sized Hydra tokens. The primary game plan uses untap enchantments like Freed from the Real and Pemmin's Aura on Zaxara or a large mana dork (Incubation Druid, Bloom Tender, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds) to create infinite colored mana, then funnel it into Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Villainous Wealth. The deck leans heavily on +1/+1 counter synergies - Doubling Season, Unbound Flourishing, Kami of Whispered Hopes - to amplify its X-spells and token production. Zaxara's token-making trigger on every X-spell provides an army of growing Hydras that can also win through combat with Herald of Secret Streams or Kalonian Hydra.
