Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a four-color spellslinger strategy helmed by Crystal, Inhuman Princess, a commander that both fixes mana for all four colors and converts every noncreature spell into table-wide damage. The primary plan is to chain cheap instants and sorceries, powered by cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer, Stormcatch Mentor, Lyse Hext, and Longshot, Rebel Bowman, and fueled by drain payoffs like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, Coruscation Mage, and the commander itself. The deck wins by storming through a long chain of spells, dealing 5-9 damage per spell to each opponent, with Storm-Kiln Artist making Treasures and Whirlwind of Thought drawing cards to keep the chain alive. Secondary lines include a token swarm from Monastery Mentor, Hermes, Overseer of Elpis, and Stormchaser's Talent, a storm mill with Brain Freeze, and a pumped combat step with Haze of Rage. A dense instant-speed interaction suite protects the winning turn.
