Thranduil, the Strategist by RobustAlligator

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil the Strategist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil the Strategist is the engine behind this Simic landfall-elves list: every land drop creates a 1/1 Elf token, and every Elf in play becomes a {G}/{U} mana dork. The core loop is to multiply land drops (Exploration, Oracle of Mul Daya, Thranduil's Company, Llanowar Scout) and then chain land-fetch spells (Crop Rotation, Harrow, Entish Restoration, Roiling Regrowth, Scapeshift, Primeval Herald, plus a dense fetch base) into multiple landfall triggers per turn. Parallel Lives and Roaming Throne double the token tide, while Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project, Kindred Discovery, and Leaf-Crowned Visionary convert casts and ETBs into cards. The win is a single overwhelming combat: Overwhelming Stampede, Preposterous Proportions, Tyvar, the Pummeler's pump, or a Time Warp/Temporal Manipulation extra turn. There are no infinite combos - this is a value-heavy Elf-ball that buries the table in tokens and wins via one huge alpha strike.
