Deck overview

This deck is an Assassin typal combat deck led by Ezio Auditore da Firenze. The strategy focuses on curving out evasive Assassins to enable freerunning, allowing expensive, impactful threats to enter the battlefield for just two black mana. Once the board is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat swings using tribal anthems like Coat of Arms and Bayek of Siwa, or executes sudden player eliminations via Sorin Markov, Tree of Perdition, and Ezio's five-color trigger. If Ramses, Assassin Lord is present when an opponent falls to an Assassin attack, the deck wins the game on the spot. Interaction is versatile across all permanent types, backed by evasion enablers like Cover of Darkness and Whispersilk Cloak. However, the deck is constrained by a lean mana base of thirty lands and minimal low-cost ramp, making color fixing and recovery from board sweepers its primary operational challenges.
