Deck overview

Kambal, Profiteering Mayor is an Orzhov token-drain deck. Its primary plan is to generate a mass token event-The War Games, Hunted Horror, or Tribute to Horobi-so Kambal copies every opponent token while Mirkwood Bats and other enter/death triggers drain all opponents. Secondary paths are a controlling wipe plan (Austere Command, Kaya's Wrath, Living Death) and a go-wide beatdown finish with Elspeth, Divine Visitation, or Rabble Rousing. Kambal is the value amplifier rather than a required engine; Thalisse, Reverent Medium and Teysa, Orzhov Scion serve as the real token engines. The deck is single-faced, so there is no double-faced commander angle and no true hidden commander.
