Format: Commander

Commander: Kuja, Genome Sorcerer // Trance Kuja, Fate Defied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kuja, Genome Sorcerer transforms into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, doubling every Wizard ping. The deck plays a burn-storm game: create 0/1 Wizard tokens, cast cheap noncreature spells, and multiply the triggered damage with Trance Kuja, Harmonic Prodigy, Collective Inferno, Insult//Injury, Quest for Pure Flame, and Torture Pit. Rituals and draw spells keep the chain running; Birgi and Electro refund mana. There is no hidden commander; Kuja's back face is the payoff the deck is built around. The front face's end-step token generator is just a means to flip. Win condition is simultaneous burn damage to all opponents via stacked triggers, occasionally supplementing with Bolas's Citadel's sacrifice ability.
