Deck overview

This deck is a focused Selesnya creature-combo deck that leverages early tax pieces to disrupt opponents while assembling compact, game-ending engines. The commander, Brigid, Clachan's Heart // Brigid, Doun's Mind, generates early board presence on its front face and transforms into a powerful mana engine that taps for mana equal to your creature count. This mana accelerates untap combos with cards like Umbral Mantle and Staff of Domination to generate infinite mana, which can be poured into Walking Ballista or creature card draw. Alternatively, the deck features an independent two-card infinite combo in Siona, Captain of the Pyleas and Shielded by Faith, which produces arbitrarily many 1/1 tokens to swarm the table. Robust tutor packages for both creatures and auras provide high redundancy, while proactive hate pieces such as Deafening Silence, Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, and Blind Obedience buy the time needed to close out games consistently around Turn 5.
