Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue noncreature control and enchantress strategy commanded by Geist of Saint Thalia. The commander acts as a reliable 2-mana cost reducer in the command zone, allowing the deck to deploy mid-cost enchantments, artifacts, and card-draw engines ahead of curve. Rather than rushing fast combos, the deck establishes an oppressive asymmetric web of stax pieces such as Back to Basics, Leyline of Singularity, and Propaganda to hinder opponents' mana and aggressive plans. Meanwhile, compounding card advantage from Teferi's Ageless Insight, Future Sight, and Entity Tracker rapidly churns through the library. The game concludes on Turn 8 through an overwhelming evasive army created by Shark Typhoon and Ominous Seas, or by systematically milling all three opponents with Sphinx's Tutelage and The Water Crystal.
