Deck overview

This is a Dimir Zombie-midrange build with The Scarab God as its drain and value engine. The primary plan is to flood the battlefield with Zombie tokens, then use the commander's upkeep trigger to bleed each opponent while recursion spells keep the army returning. Secondary paths are graveyard theft through The Scarab God, Hedonist's Trove, and Grimoire of the Dead, plus death-trigger chip damage from Diregraf Captain, Vengeful Dead, and Al Bhed Salvagers. It is not a double-faced commander and has no hidden commander; the deck uses the only face. This plays at bracket 3: no combos, set up board presence and drain. The biggest upgrades are more lands/ramp and cheap instant-speed protection.
