Deck overview

This Sultai Elf list is a graveyard-value deck built around Thranduil, the Elvenking. The plan is to mill the library, stock the graveyard with Elf cards, and then use Thranduil's ability to borrow activated abilities from those cards. Key payoffs are Jarad's sacrifice-drain and Lathril's token-making/drain, while Abomination of Llanowar provides a massive body to sacrifice. Several recursion and reanimation effects recover key pieces. The deck also has strong instant-speed interaction and free protection spells to keep the engine alive. It wins by grinding out card advantage, building a huge board of Elves, and finishing with repeated drain effects or combat damage.
