Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender leads a Mardu token-aggro deck that turns attacks into mobilized soldiers, extra combats, and a life-drain end step. The primary plan is to go wide with Mobilize creatures and attack-trigger multipliers (Isshin, Windcrag Siege, Roaming Throne), then finish with repeated combats from Combat Celebrant, Breath of Fury, or All-Out Assault. Caesar, Legion's Emperor is the closest thing to a hidden commander, converting tokens into haste, card draw, or direct damage. Secondary paths use Alesha, Sothera, and The Soul Stone to recur threats after wipes, while interaction and protection clear the way. Zurgo himself is a value engine, drawing when attacking tokens die and draining each opponent when tokens leave without attacking; the deck can still operate if he is not cast.
