Deck overview

This Grixis spellslinger list is built around Saruman, the White Hand and his ability to amass Orcs X whenever you cast a noncreature spell, turning every instant, sorcery, and artifact into a growing Army token. The deck executes a classic "big Army + direct damage" plan: pump the Army through a high volume of noncreature spells, then finish the table with Chandra's Ignition, Essence Harvest, Fling, or Soul's Fire. It also has a strong control shell with a dense counterspell suite, free interaction, and board wipes that can be made one-sided. The commander provides a steady threat engine while the 99 supplies the recursion, card advantage, and redundancy needed to rebuild after disruption.
