Giants - Mana Burn by Jblanton117

Format: Commander

Commander: Yurlok of Scorch Thrash

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Yurlok of Scorch Thrash commands a group slug and big-mana strategy that turns excess mana into lethal punishment. The deck accelerates all players with symmetrical mana doublers like Heartbeat of Spring and Mana Flare, then penalizes opponents who cannot empty their mana pools through Yurlok's revived mana burn ability. Oppressive enchantments like Citadel of Pain, Manabarbs, and War's Toll force opponents into punishing decisions during their turns. Meanwhile, you harness the immense mana advantage into devastating finishers like Torment of Hailfire, massive Exsanguinate casts, or an infinite mana burn loop using Mana Reflection and Umbral Mantle to close out the game.
