Deck overview

This Gruul landfall deck pairs Kodama of the East Tree with Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith to create an explosive permanent-chain engine. Each land drop from Toggo creates a Rock artifact, and Kodama's trigger lets you put a permanent card from your hand onto the battlefield, often another land, which retriggers Toggo and every other landfall payoff. The deck overwhelms opponents with an avalanche of tokens (Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, Zendikar's Roil) and finishers like Finale of Devastation or Valakut Exploration.
