Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-black strategy centered on combat value, reanimation, and big mana finishers. Helmed by Rev, Tithe Extractor, the deck leverages evasive attackers and granted deathtouch to generate Treasure tokens and exile cards from opponents' libraries for card advantage. Beneath the combat shell lies an engine powered by Cabal Coffers, Crypt Ghast, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx. High-impact tutors like Vampiric Tutor, Entomb, and Buried Alive quickly assemble graveyard threats like Razaketh, the Foulblooded and Kokusho, the Evening Star, or find game-winning engines like Bolas's Citadel. Free interaction such as Deadly Rollick and Snuff Out keeps opposing boards clear while the deck sets up a lethal Turn 5 finish with a massive Torment of Hailfire or Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain. The deck is resilient against board wipes thanks to extensive reanimation, though it remains vulnerable to artifact-based hate and countermagic.
