Deck overview

This Abzan midrange deck pairs Kodama of the East Tree and Tymna the Weaver to construct an explosive permanent-cheating and blink value engine. The early game focuses on deploying efficient mana dorks and early attackers to draw cards with Tymna. In the midgame, the deck establishes powerful engine anchors such as Teleportation Circle, Emiel the Blessed, and Guardian Project, or drops Kodama to double the velocity of every permanent played. High-end enters-the-battlefield creatures—including Avenger of Zendikar, Gruff Triplets, Railway Brawler, and Archon of Cruelty—generate massive token swarms and asymmetric resource attrition. The deck disrupts opponents using comprehensive Abzan removal and stax-lite pieces like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Trouble in Pairs, while protecting its lethal board states with Silence, Veil of Summer, and mass-blink spells. Games close on Turns 6–7 via overwhelming trample attacks or an unblockable Akroma's Will alpha strike.
