Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu token deck helmed by Tsagan, Raider Warlord. The game plan revolves around generating wide boards of creature tokens through attackers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon, and Krenko, Tin Street Kingpin. Once Tsagan attacks, it distributes a massive team-wide power buff based on the number of creatures with first strike or double strike. Reaching max speed grants the entire board first strike and gives Tsagan deathtouch, making blocks virtually impossible. Card advantage engines such as Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor and Grim Hireling convert combat connections into continuous resources. The deck protects its board with premier defensive spells like Clever Concealment and Flare of Fortitude, closing out games through explosive combat steps and extra-combat effects like Aurelia, the Warleader and Great Train Heist.
